About The Position
The Forced Air/Box Rotator supports cooler operations at the Coachella facility by receiving, offloading, and rotating cooled products. The role is responsible for ensuring products reach the optimum temperature and for handling cooled inventory efficiently and correctly.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in agricultural cooling, receiving, and shipping.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Forklift certification and 2–3 years of experience.
- Ability to correctly use radio-frequency handheld devices.
Responsibilities
- Handle product that has been forced-air cooled to its optimum temperature.
- Rotate inventory using FIFO.
- Receive product cooled in the Hydro-Vac into the cold room.
- Maintain an orderly appearance in the cold room.
- Combine partial pallets.
- Enter data into the Cooler Management System.
- Offload product from transfer loads.
- Complete the daily equipment checklist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
