About The Position
The Forced Air/Box Rotator supports cooler operations at the Coachella facility by receiving, offloading, and rotating cooled products. The role ensures efficient handling and proper movement of cooled inventory, including products forced-air cooled to the optimum temperature.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in agriculture cooling, receiving, and shipping.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Forklift certification and 2–3 years of forklift experience.
- Ability to correctly use radio-frequency handheld devices.
Responsibilities
- Rotate inventory using FIFO (first in, first out).
- Receive product cooled in the Hydro-Vac into the cold room.
- Maintain an orderly appearance in the cold room.
- Combine partial pallets.
- Enter data into the Cooler Management System.
- Offload product from transfer loads.
- Complete the daily equipment checklist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
