About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking passionate and energetic Culinary and Hospitality Team Members for full and part-time roles in college dining. This is an excellent opportunity for Culinary Graduates to begin their careers in the front and back of the dining services industry. Team members will gain experience in various settings, including hospitality-driven multi-dining outlets, retail, national brand partnerships, and catering. The role involves duties such as plating, setting up and tearing down dining areas, assisting in the kitchen with prep and dishwashing, inventory management, and maintaining sanitation standards. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for teamwork are essential.

Requirements

Must pass Federal Background Check, Child Abuse clearances and Finger Printing
Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
Willingness to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
Hospitality-driven mindset
Able to work and thrive in a team environment
Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM
Passion for food and understanding of basics (training provided)

Responsibilities

Serving guests
Keeping workstations cleaned
Performing small prep work
Restocking stations for the following shift
Working as a team
Plating food
Setting up and tearing down café, restaurant, retail areas
Assisting in the kitchen with prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories
Maintaining sanitation
Operating as a Barista, Cashier, Cook and Runner in retail settings
Creating, transporting, setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet-style food displays
Providing hospitality and guest experience focus
