About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is growing and has openings for Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who share a passion for food and service. We are seeking team members for full and part-time roles. This is a great opportunity for Culinary Grads! Metz Culinary Management offers competitive wages, benefits, and a Daily Pay option. Culinary Team Members will start their culinary career learning the front and back of the Dining Services Industry. In a hospitality-driven, multi-dining outlet setting, duties include plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas, or assisting in the kitchen with prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories, and sanitation. A strong work ethic, a SMILE, and enjoyment of working in a TEAM environment are essential. Retail and National Brand Team Members contribute to the overall operations of national brand and local brand dining options in student dining outlets, including Barista, Cashier, Cook, and Runner roles. A friendly and hospitality-driven mindset is a must. Catering Team Members have a great part-time opportunity to learn and grow while providing a fun atmosphere to showcase hospitality and attention to detail in creating beautiful food presentations and displays. Catering Team Members create, transport, set up, serve, and break down banquet-style food displays with a focus on hospitality and guest experience. Catering events range from small casual business lunches to extravagant black-tie events.
Requirements
- Experience desired but willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understanding of the basics
- Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
- Willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
- Hospitality-driven
- Able to work and thrive in a team environment
- Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM
