About The Position

Metz Culinary Management at the West Perry School District has openings for substitute team members to work as needed in all of our schools. Child abuse, state police and FBI fingerprint clearance along with a TB test are required for employment. Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for Rock Star Culinary and Hospitality Team Members who shares our passion for Food and Service. We are seeking team members for full and part-time roles in a busy K-12 School Cafe setting. This is a great opportunity for Culinary Grads! Requirements

Child abuse, state police and FBI fingerprint clearance along with a TB test are required for employment
Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
Hospitality-driven
Able to work and thrive in a team environment
Brings a SMILE and strong work ethic to the TEAM

Nice To Haves

Culinary Grads
Experience in resort would be ideal
Hospitality experience is desired

Responsibilities

Plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas
Assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation
Prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following our Executive Chef Menus
Ability to inventory and portion ingredients
Create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with amazing hospitality and guest experience focus
Work as needed in a busy K-12 kitchen and dining café setting
