About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is seeking passionate and energetic team members for full and part-time roles in a busy K-12 school cafe setting. This is a great opportunity for Culinary Grads and individuals looking to start or grow their career in the culinary and hospitality industry. Team members will learn various aspects of dining services, including plating, setting up and tearing down cafe areas, and assisting in the kitchen with prep, dishwashing, and inventory management. Responsibilities

Plating food
Set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas
Kitchen assistance including prep, dish room, dry stock, and perishable food inventories
Maintaining a safe and organized dish line
Stocking products
Assisting with kitchen prep
Supporting the team during high-volume service
Preparing and presenting meals according to executive chef menus
Inventorying and portioning ingredients
Creating, transporting, setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet-style food displays
Working on an as needed basis as a cafeteria substitute
