About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is hiring full- and part-time Foodservice Workers for its growing contract dining services team. The position offers flexible schedules, a family-friendly schedule, no weekends, summers off, earned sick time, competitive wages, benefits, and an optional Daily Pay benefit. Roles may vary by location and include culinary team members, line and prep cooks, and dietary aides. The company welcomes culinary and hospitality graduates and is open to training candidates with a passion for food.

Culinary team members learn front- and back-of-house dining services in a hospitality-driven, multi-outlet setting. Line and prep cooks prepare and present meals, follow menus, and help with ingredient inventory and portioning. Dietary aides support patient and resident meal service under the guidance of clinical dietitian staff, following dietary instructions and assisting with meal selection, tray setup, delivery, and removal. Employees may also help with food preparation, dish room duties, stock and inventory, and sanitation.

Requirements

• A smile, strong work ethic, and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical skills relevant to inventory and portioning.
• Willingness to contribute where needed.
• Background check and drug screening are required during onboarding.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Plate food and set up or tear down café, restaurant, and retail dining areas.
• Assist with kitchen preparation, dish room duties, dry stock and perishable food inventories, and sanitation.
• Prepare and present meals according to Executive Chef menus.
• Inventory and portion ingredients.
• Follow patient dietary instructions under the guidance of clinical dietitian staff.
• Assist patients and residents with meal selection and tray setup, and deliver and remove food trays.
• Contribute where needed as part of a team.
