About The Position

Metz Culinary Management is hiring culinary and hospitality team members for full- and part-time roles in contract dining services. Depending on the location and position, work may include culinary team member, line and prep cook, or dietary aide duties. Team members work in hospitality-driven dining settings and are expected to contribute where needed, deliver friendly service, and work well as part of a team. The company is open to training candidates who have a passion for food and understand the basics. Background checks and drug screening are required during onboarding. Daily Pay is an optional employee benefit.

Requirements

Hospitality experience is desired; candidates with a passion for food and an understanding of the basics may be trained.
Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics to inventory and portioning.
Willingness to contribute where needed.
Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
Strong work ethic and a friendly, service-oriented demeanor.
Background check and drug screening are required as part of onboarding.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a cook or culinary schooling is ideal.
Hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

Plate food and set up and take down café, restaurant, and retail areas.
Assist with kitchen preparation, dish room duties, dry stock and perishable food inventories, and sanitation.
Prepare and present meals following Executive Chef menus.
Inventory and portion ingredients.
Assist patients and residents with meal selection, tray setup, meal delivery, and tray removal.
Follow patient dietary instructions under the guidance of Clinical Dietitian staff.
Contribute where needed and provide hospitable service to guests, patients, and residents.
