About The Position

The Food Truck team member at La Salsa Verde is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our food truck by preparing food, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food Handler certification
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Experience in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a food service environment
  • Experience in providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on positive interaction
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Bilingual

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Provide positive and friendly customer service, addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Stock supplies and manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary ingredients and materials.
  • Manage equipment effectively, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including food preparation areas and service counters.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.
