The Fort is seeking dedicated, responsible, and hard-working cooks with lunch experience to join their Food Truck team. The position is part-time, operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May 16th through August. The food truck menu features Bison Burger, Brats, Chicken Salad, and Empanadas. Cooks will be responsible for food preparation and cooking according to prescribed methods, as well as maintaining clean and safe work areas and adhering to all health regulations. The Fort is a full-scale adobe replica of a 19th-century fur trading fort located southwest of Denver, near Morrison, Colorado, in the 'Red Rocks' Country. Its menu is inspired by the Trappers, traders, and American Indian recipes of that era, known as 'New Foods of the Old West,' offering game meats, seafood, vegetarian options, and homemade desserts, alongside an extensive, award-winning wine selection.
