About The Position

The Village of Glendale Crossing has an exciting opportunity for a Food Services Manager to join their team. This role is full-time and located at 3030 Singleton Ave, London, ON N6L 0B6. The expected hiring range for this position is $59,740 to $63,300. This role falls within a broader internal salary band, with growth opportunities based on demonstrated performance. Requirements

• Proven experience in large quantity food preparation and food purchasing, including financial planning
• Experience leading and inspiring a large food services team in a unionized environment
• Familiarity with Ontario Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA, Ontario Long Term Care Facility Program manual, Long Term Care Homes Act, and OH&S Act
• Active membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (C.S.N.M.)

Responsibilities

• Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of hospitality services to our residents.
• Lead and support the food service team with hands-on training, coaching and leadership while maintaining the food services department to exceed Public Health and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards.
• Ensure that diet and nutritional requirements are met and regular assessments are completed.
• Plan and support catering functions in the Village.
• Create an enhanced dining experience for our residents.
• Manage purchasing, department schedules and payroll duties.
