About The Position

This role is responsible for planning and preparing food items, ensuring all products are cooked properly and meet quality standards. The Food Services Coordinator II will maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control, while following recipes, food preparation procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards. They will also be responsible for rotating food products appropriately, operating kitchen equipment safely, and performing preventative maintenance checks. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and monitoring food loss and spoilage are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role involves fulfilling food orders and requests in a timely and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in food service, culinary, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food service operations, preparation techniques, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Previous experience working in a food service or commercial kitchen environment required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, particularly in customer-facing settings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and work safely in a kitchen environment.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies.
  • Monitor food loss and spoilage, accurately recording waste and identifying opportunities to reduce it.
  • Fulfill food orders and requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests and team members.
