About The Position
Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
- No experience is required.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
Nice To Haves
- Prior food service experience is preferred.
