About The Position

This position works in a local school kitchen or cafeteria. The Food Service Worker helps prepare and serve meals and maintain a clean, sanitary food service environment while following applicable USDA, state, HACCP, and health department requirements. The role may also assist with cost monitoring and inventory controls.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Positive and consistent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical demands that may include standing for long periods, sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, and lifting up to and in excess of 40 pounds.
