About The Position

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Food Service is hiring a Food Service Worker (Cashier). Food Service Workers work Full-time, Rotating Shifts, covering both day and evening shifts, and work every other weekend. This position entails various responsibilities, including but not limited to preparing and assembling food according to dietary guidelines, safety and customer preferences, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, washing dishes, working as a cashier, meeting utility needs, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. As a Food Service Worker with Sentara, you work in the different aspects of delivering food to the patients.

Requirements

• Food Handlers Card required in the city of Norfolk
• Food Handlers Card - Certification - Food Service Certification, as required by local Health Department.
