About The Position
Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Missouri, is seeking a food service worker to provide efficient, high-quality customer service to patients and their families. As part of the nutrition team, the worker helps ensure patients receive the nutrition they need for healing. Work may include food running, tray line, food preparation, dishwashing, storeroom duties, and other nutrition-service roles. The ideal candidate values teamwork, provides good customer service, and can work quickly and efficiently.
Requirements
- Less than one year of applicable experience.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Teamwork and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle, prepare, and serve food according to written menus and sanitation regulations.
- Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver food to customers.
- Restock cafeteria supplies.
- Maintain sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
- Maintain inventory control, rotate and label products, and follow safe food-handling practices to ensure products remain available to customers.
- Assist with cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as needed.
