Food Service Worker - Swing Shift
About The Position
Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, Missouri, is seeking a food service worker to provide efficient, high-quality customer service to patients and their families. As part of the nutrition team, the worker helps ensure patients receive the nutrition they need during recovery. Work assignments may include food running, tray line, food preparation, dishwashing, storeroom tasks, and other nutrition-service roles. The position is full-time and swing shift. Shifts vary and are listed as 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; the schedule includes one to two weekends per month or Monday through Friday, with hours varying.
Requirements
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Less than one year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities
- Handle, prepare, and serve food according to written menus and sanitation regulations.
- Prepare cafeteria food service and deliver food to customers.
- Restock cafeteria supplies.
- Maintain sanitation of work areas, dishes, and equipment.
- Maintain inventory control, product rotation, labeling, and safe food handling practices to ensure product availability.
- Assist with cashier and dishwasher responsibilities as needed.
