Food Service Worker (Cook) FT
About The Position
Pyramid Healthcare is hiring a Food Service Worker (Cook) for its Ridgeview team in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. The role helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen and prepares meals that support clients receiving behavioral healthcare and substance use disorder recovery services. The position includes storing food to prevent spoilage, preparing specialty meals, monitoring kitchen equipment temperatures, maintaining kitchen sanitation and organization, and managing portion control. The employee must complete required company, accreditation, and licensing training. Prior dietary experience or training is preferred, and the employee must have ServSafe training or be willing to obtain ServSafe certification within one year of hire. Starting pay is $15 per hour. Benefits and eligibility may vary by employment status.

Responsibilities
- Store food in designated containers and areas to prevent spoilage.
- Prepare gluten-free, organic, vegan, and specialty meals as scheduled.

- Manage portion control.
- Complete required company, accreditation, and licensing training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
