About The Position
The Food Service Worker is responsible for accurately and promptly setting up the tray line workstation, properly cleaning and sanitizing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, and helping maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen. Services may be provided at both LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. The role also performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Able to read, write, and speak in English.
- Able to read and follow written and oral instructions.
- Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently to safely complete job duties.
- Able to safely operate standard equipment required for the position.
- Able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Food Handler's Certification from the San Bernardino County Public Health Department required within 14 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least six months of related experience preferred.
- SafeServ Managers certification preferred; it supersedes the Food Handler's certificate.
