About The Position

This hourly paid position performs food preparation and service work. Positions in this job are established for less than 30 hours per week. Under close supervision, the Food Service Worker prepares and cooks food or assists with cooking using specialized equipment, serves and distributes food, and cleans the kitchen, kitchen equipment, and dining areas. The worker may perform cashier duties and other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in the area of assignment.
• Knowledge of safe food handling processes.
• Considerable knowledge of practices and procedures in a food service operation.
• Experience dealing with the public and following oral and written instructions.
• Ability to organize workload efficiently.
• Experience performing all functions in a food service operation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle records check, and drug screen.
