About The Position
The Food Service Worker III provides excellent customer service by preparing and serving menu items and creating a “WOW” experience for Quest guests. This role is intended for someone with five or more years of food service experience who can complete tasks accurately with little supervision or follow-up. The position involves a high level of food preparation, cleaning, and service, and the worker is ready to move into a Cook I role if desired, with little additional training.

Responsibilities
- Communicate and support Quest Food Management Services’ vision, values, and founding principles.
- Demonstrate commitment to Quest’s vision, values, and mission through daily actions.
- Provide efficient, friendly, and prompt service to students and staff.
- Review menus and production needs to determine the type and quantities of menu items to prepare.
- Assist with food preparation and service as needed.
- Portion and arrange menu options.
- Maintain sanitation and organization of the service line and surrounding areas.
- Maintain open, positive, and effective communication with others.
- Complete closing responsibilities, including storing and cleaning line items and restocking assigned areas.
- Complete new or non-routine tasks with little direction.
- Demonstrate a high level of food preparation, cleaning, and service.
- Assist others with closing procedures when time permits.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, guests, and staff during events by using their names when possible and anticipating their needs.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
- Report to scheduled shifts on time and in complete uniform.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
