About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the food service transportation department. This includes ensuring timely and efficient delivery of food and supplies to various school sites, managing a team of drivers, and maintaining vehicle logs and maintenance schedules. The supervisor will also be responsible for adhering to all safety regulations and district policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Nevada driver's license.
Three (3) years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
Experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for scheduling and tracking.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food service transportation.
Additional certifications in transportation management or safety.

Responsibilities
