Western State Hospital, part of the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), is seeking a full-time Food Service Tech II Lead. This role functions as a lead worker performing opening/closing responsibilities, utilizing the CBORD system for daily office work, assisting with the assembly of patient trays, snacks, and bag meals, cleaning dishes, trays, equipment, and kitchen facilities, stocking, and providing storeroom assistance in receiving/stocking, pre-portioning/product stocking, closing, and support. The hospital is a 302-bed Joint Commission/CMS-accredited psychiatric facility located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley, serving adults with serious mental health needs and recognized for its Psychosocial Rehabilitation “Learning” programs. WSH provides a modern clinical setting and a therapeutic environment for patients, supported by highly qualified staff.
