About The Position

Supervise daily operations of food service areas to ensure efficient, high-quality customer service. Coordinate staff and maintain standards for service, safety, and presentation.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training in hospitality or culinary arts is an asset.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in food service with supervisory or lead responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace health regulations.
  • Ability to read and complete operational records, including temperature logs and incident reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform manual tasks, and lift moderate loads as required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front- and back-of-house staff during shifts to ensure timely and consistent service.
  • Prepare and adjust staff schedules, assign duties, and monitor employee performance.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace health standards through regular inspections and corrective actions.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation; handle customer feedback and resolve service issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory, receive deliveries, track stock levels, and control waste to support cost management.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members; support onboarding and professional development efforts.
