About The Position
The Supervisor - Nutrition & Dining manages the shift including production, service and retail operations to ensure the highest quality service to our patients, visitors, employees and guests while adhering to all regulatory requirements put forth by local, state and federal agencies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience in food service, preferably in an acute care setting.
- A licensed ability to drive may be necessary.
Nice To Haves
- 2 year degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Business Administration or related field.
- RD, CDM, CFPP preferred
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Servsafe or Food Safety Manager certified
- Cooking experience
Responsibilities
- Staff supervision
- Adherence to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation codes
- Vendor management, including periodic review to ensure highest quality and value
- Catering
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including End of Month, End of Year documentation and recordkeeping, billing for catering, floor stocks and other interdepartmental transfers
- Food cost analysis
- Effective communication and demonstration of team-based management.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) using food service management software
- Retail/cash handling
- Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted above.
Benefits
- Standard rate of $21.42 - $27.85 per hour plus benefits
