About The Position

As a Food Service Manager, you will supervise, coordinate, and participate in the effective preparation and service of high quality meals. You will ensure a safe and sanitary operation, an efficient cost-effective operation, and maintain communication within the facility. As a dedicated A Player, you must be highly motivated, community/service minded, and detailed oriented with strong analytical skills. With your integrity and strong work ethic, you will serve as a positive role model. You will be engaged in daily "hands-on" management and training of the kitchen staff. Due to your exemplary customer service skills, you will be a key part of retaining and growing the client and customer relationship.

Requirements

• 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as required
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills.
• Must have Serv/Safe certification
• Previous experience managing food and labor costs
• Experience managing a staff
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office and other platforms
• Successfully pass a criminal background check

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in hospitality/dietetics preferred
• Catering experience, a plus
