About The Position
Food Service Manager needed for school food service in the Roxbury, NJ area. This is a Monday through Friday, day shift position, working 7 hours daily, with no weekends or holidays. Summers off.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a fast pace team environment.
- Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

Responsibilities
- Managing the operation on a daily basis.
- Cooking - Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines.
- Ordering - Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.
- POS/Register - Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures.
- Safety - Endure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times.
- Cleanliness - maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
- Staffing - secure food service workers, and substitutes.
