About The Position

Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact. Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island l ocated in Parris Island, SC. Headquarters and Service Battalion Mess Hall is located aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. This dining facility is patronized daily by the permanent personnel Marines stationed on the depot. Currently open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, the unit averages around three hundred meals fed daily.The Food Production Manager provides supervision for multi-functional food service areas at an account/unit to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company.

Requirements

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
• Minimum Management Experience - 1 year
