About The Position

Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is hiring a part-time Food Service / Dietary Aide. The role supports dietary services in a skilled nursing facility focused on providing high-quality patient care and helping patients maximize their functional independence. On-the-job training is available for candidates without prior food service experience. The schedule is Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; flexible schedules are offered.

Requirements

• Food handler's permit.
• Fluency in English.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma desired.
• Prior food service experience is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager with patient dietary plans and meal planning and scheduling.
• Prepare meals in cooperation with kitchen staff.
• Prepare and clean up the dining room.
• Serve meals to patients and residents.
• Clean up the dining room after meal service.
