About The Position

The Food Service Assistant Manager supports the store management team in completing all store-level tasks. This role involves various responsibilities across different store areas, including food preparation, potential cash register duties, customer service, and general housekeeping. The primary goal is to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the company's purpose to “Leave ‘em Better.”

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to operate multiple devices.
  • Possess the desire and ability to understand various computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and word.
  • Have a good understanding of the register systems, troubleshooting, and the back office software.

  • Refills condiments or other supplies
  • Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Ensure the proper execution of all assigned store level marketing programs
  • Assists the food service manager in all aspects of leading and managing the facility
  • Replenish products and supplies to ensure in stock conditions at all times
  • Check in external and internal vendors according to corporate procedures
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Be an example of consistency and professionalism for all team members
  • Ability to clearly perform and coach others in the expectations of all positions within the store
  • Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resource
  • Patience and expertise that is required to direct and conduct training
