This position functions to portion and plate food before and during the tray-line, performing all tasks associated with Patient Tray Service to ensure patient satisfaction. The role also involves performing a variety of functions to ensure timely, accurate, and courteous delivery and pick-up of patient trays and nourishments. Additionally, the Food Service Associate will perform food preparation (e.g., gelatin, custard, sandwiches, salads, and desserts) for patient and customer satisfaction, maintain sanitation standards for all dishes and equipment to meet health code standards, and stock and maintain sanitation standards for patient floor kitchens.
