The Food Service Associate is responsible for portioning and plating food, performing all tray-line tasks associated with Patient Tray Service to ensure patient satisfaction. This role also involves various functions to ensure timely, accurate, and courteous delivery and pick-up of patient trays and nourishments. Additionally, the associate will prepare food items such as gelatin, custard, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, and maintain sanitation standards for all dishes and equipment to meet health code standards and ensure patient satisfaction. The position also includes stocking and maintaining sanitation standards for patient floor kitchens.
