Under direct supervision, provides routine assistance in the preparation and serving of food, sanitation, and/or kitchen maintenance. The Dining Services Department at Salisbury University is accepting applications for Food Service Assistant (Part-Time Contingent I) positions in Dining Services in an effort to maintain a pool of applicants for future openings. Primary Job Duties: Provide routine assistance in the preparation and serving of food; set up and break down service lines; cashiering; maintain safe and sanitary conditions; operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, mixers, toasters, etc.; consistently demonstrates excellent customer service skills to all internal and external customers and other duties as assigned.
