Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years (36 months) of food service work experience in an institutional or commercial setting.
  • Supervisory ability and experience.
  • Ability to pass food handlers examination.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
  • Possession of Illinois Department of Public Health Food Service Management Sanitation Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform line supervisory duties for a food service unit within the Food Service Department.
  • Work under the general supervision from a Food Service Administrator.
