About The Position

Works in conjunction with the Concessions Manager to coordinate, direct, monitor and supervise all concourse operations with a focus on Beer Portables, Club, Premium, and Loge and Bar operations at INTRUST Bank Arena. Assists Concessions Manager to provide premium services and backstage catering at Capitol Federal Amphitheater. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Management of all Bars, Loge, Club Seats, Brew Pub Seating, Loft Seating, Club Platform, and Cox Lounge. Hiring, training and direction of quality bartenders, servers and support personnel. Monitor all alcohol and food costs and quality control. Keeping within guidelines of the department. Works with Executive Chef to promote food and drink quality and standards. Organization of training program for new-hires and groups. Directly handles all guests’ related issues. Creates and implements training materials to develop team. Teaming and station assignments of all bar and restaurant personnel. Assures compliance with all State laws and health codes. Analyze and maintain inventory levels to produce an effective cost. Approve all order requests before finalized. Develop assignments for subordinates. Schedule team using ABIMM for events and day work as needed. Provide premium services and backstage catering to Capitol Federal Amphitheater. Ensure Customer Service, develop standards of service. Establish and maintain positive client relationships. Works with all Managers of the Food and Beverage department to enhance the guest experience on all levels of the arena. Assist with other food and beverage areas as needed, including the management of beer portables during events. Daily contact with the Director of Food & Beverage, Event Services team and other arena employees. Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Regular attendance is an essential job function. Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global venues in Wichita and Andover. Additional tasks assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage. Supervisory Responsibilities: Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma, or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred At least two (2) years of restaurant, club, bar, or pertinent experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced oral and written communication skills. Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other team members in the facility. Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required goals. Excellent organizational, planning, communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks. Excellent computer skills. Tact, diplomacy, and discretion required in all matters. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as well as extensive credit check. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least two (2) years of restaurant, club, bar, or pertinent experience.
