About The Position

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Foodservice Aide to help prepare, serve, distribute, and clean up fresh, chef-created food in a school kitchen on weekdays. The role is flexible as to when the substitute works and involves working in various areas with a team to provide nutritious and authentic food to customers. Duties may include setting up condiment and utensil areas, following food safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive work environment. Other related duties may be assigned by leadership.

Requirements

Food service or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
Ability to make correct change and use a basic computation device.
Contribute to a positive work environment.
Demonstrate integrity and respect confidentiality.
Be dependable and punctual.
Be an independent self-starter able to meet deadlines.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Follow food safety requirements and guidelines.
Successfully pass a criminal background check.
