The primary responsibility of the Food Server is to provide prompt, courteous service to hotel patrons and ensure the guests receive a pleasurable dining experience. This role involves acknowledging customers immediately with a smile, informing guests of specials, and having a full understanding of the menu to answer any questions. The server will take and serve beverage orders promptly, ensure food orders are correct before serving, and monitor tables closely to be attentive to guests’ needs. Responsibilities also include clearing empty plates and glasses, preparing sections and side stations, ensuring tables are cleaned and set properly, and preparing silverware neatly and quickly at the table. The server must maintain a clean work area, exemplify core values, family style service, mission, vision, and DEI culture, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
