Food Server-On Call
About The Position
The Food Server receives and serves food and beverage orders from guests and may collect payment and make change. The role involves greeting and communicating with guests in a friendly, courteous manner; processing orders through a computerized guest check system; retrieving prepared orders from the kitchen and delivering them to guests; and presenting guest checks. The server may collect payment or deliver it to the cashier. The position also requires carrying and balancing trays or pushing a food-and-beverage cart through the kitchen and dining room, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining room.
Requirements
- Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to use a computer system to place food and beverage orders and process payments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and certifications.
