About The Position

Serve food and beverages to banquet guests. Set up banquet functions according to the catering specification sheet by arranging tables with linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware. Greet guests, serve food and beverages, prepare condiments, and break down banquet rooms after functions by clearing and transporting used items to the dishwashing area.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to push and/or pull carts weighing approximately 100 pounds.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms in accordance with catering specification sheets, including arranging table linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware.
• Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages to guests using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts.
• Prepare and set up condiments.
• Break down banquet rooms after functions by removing soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware and transporting them to the dishwashing area.
