About The Position

Benchmark at Alexandria is seeking an on-call Server to join its dining team. The role supports a clean and welcoming dining environment and provides friendly, personalized service to residents. The Server takes and serves food and beverage orders, assists residents with meal selection and other dining needs, and helps prepare and maintain the dining room.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
