About The Position

The Food Server provides an exceptional dining experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service in a luxury hotel and casino setting. This role ensures that all food and beverage orders are taken accurately and served in a timely manner, adhering to company and department standards while creating a refined and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in upscale or fine dining service within a luxury hotel, resort, or casino environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, wine pairings, and cocktail presentation.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Valid Clark County Health Card
  • Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM Card)

  • Previous experience in guest-focused roles with high attention to detail and personalized service preferred.

  • Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
