About The Position

Governors Grill at Casino Fandango is looking for energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Food Servers to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a supportive team. The Food Server will provide outstanding guest service by taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, contributing to a welcoming dining experience while upholding high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to remain professional under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
Valid Food Handler's Certification.
Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
Previous food serving experience preferred.
Food allergy awareness and knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive service to every guest.
Greet guests promptly with a smile and welcoming attitude.
Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables, stations, and service areas.
Process guest payments accurately and responsibly.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests, team members, and vendors.
Follow all company policies, health regulations, and food safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
