About The Position

Governors Grill at Casino Fandango is looking for energetic, friendly, and customer-focused Food Servers to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a supportive team. The Food Server will provide outstanding guest service by taking and delivering food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, contributing to a welcoming dining experience while upholding high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain professional under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
  • Valid Food Handler's Certification.
  • Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Previous food serving experience preferred.
  • Food allergy awareness and knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver fast, friendly, and attentive service to every guest.
  • Greet guests promptly with a smile and welcoming attitude.
  • Take beverage and food orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables, stations, and service areas.
  • Process guest payments accurately and responsibly.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests, team members, and vendors.
  • Follow all company policies, health regulations, and food safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
