About The Position

Saint Therese is hiring a part-time Food Server / Dietary Aide for its IHM senior living community. The role creates welcoming dining experiences for seniors through attentive service, genuine hospitality, and positive daily interactions. The server works with a supportive team to serve meals accurately and thoughtfully and build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.

The currently available schedule is an evening shift from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., for 32–44 hours per two-week pay period. Schedules include working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Saint Therese IHM is a close-knit community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled care, and transitional care. Saint Therese is a faith-based, nonprofit senior living organization with more than 60 years of experience providing person-centered care.

Requirements

• Ability to read English and accurately follow diet cards, menus, and production sheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
• Commitment to respectful, person-centered service.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and carrying trays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous serving or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience in senior living or hospitality settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with a welcoming, positive dining experience by serving meals warmly and professionally.
• Serve meals accurately according to diet cards, menus, and residents’ dietary needs.
• Clear dishes and maintain a clean, organized dining and service environment.
• Support nutrition services operations through setup, cleanup, dishwashing, and related duties as assigned.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and team members while modeling excellent customer service.
