About The Position
Spring Arbor Senior Living in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is hiring a Server / Dining Associate for its assisted living dining team. The role focuses on serving meals and creating welcoming, meaningful experiences for senior residents and guests through friendly, professional service. The position pays up to $17.71 per hour, based on years of experience, and offers same-day pay options. The schedule is part time, with various weekdays Monday through Friday and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); the posting notes no late nights. The role includes greeting and seating residents and guests, serving food, clearing and sanitizing dining areas, delivering and retrieving trays from residents’ apartments as needed, and labeling and dating food. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pay attention to detail, be flexible and adaptable, demonstrate safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must pass a criminal background screening.
- Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy; associates are subject to its requirements.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
- Serve food efficiently and professionally.
- Clear glasses, silverware, dishes, and other items when residents and guests finish a course or meal, following Company protocol.
- Keep the dining room clean; wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors, and work areas after every meal period.
- Deliver trays to and retrieve trays from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
