About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring and maintaining good housekeeping practices for the dining facility. The lead will perform the duties of a Food Sanitation Specialist and direct/assign other specialists in cleaning tasks, dishwashing, bussing services, trash removal, and restroom cleaning. The position also involves monitoring breaks, promoting safety, and providing performance feedback to team members. The role requires adherence to company rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to perform and lead other workers in a variety of tasks associated with the preparation and serving of foods and beverages.
- Provide cleaning services within a food service environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards.
- Must follow and demonstrate set procedures in accomplishing repetitive assignments and follow established sequence of work.
- Must have solid work ethics.
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated history of related food service cleaning preferably with a major institution or the military is desired.
- One (1) year experience in a senior or lead position preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring and maintaining good housekeeping practices for the dining facility.
- Performing duties of Food Sanitation Specialist.
- Directing and/or assigning Food Sanitation Specialists in cleaning tasks.
- Directing and/or assigning Food Sanitation Specialists in washing dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking vessels and utensils.
- Directing and/or assigning Food Sanitation Specialists in bussing services and ensuring condiments and napkins are refilled.
- Directing and/or assigning Food Sanitation Specialists in trash removal to disposal area and cleaning restrooms, entrance areas and back dock of dining facilities.
- Monitoring, and may assign, breaks for Food Sanitation Specialists.
- Promoting Safety.
- Providing feedback on Food Sanitation Specialists' performance, work habits and behavior.
- Performing other duties as assigned by Project Manager or designee.
- Adhering to Blackstone Consulting, Inc. rules and regulations.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager or other management designee.
