About The Position

Dartcor Hospitality is opening the Final Whistle. The Final Whistle is a high-energy, pop-up sports bar experience created to capture the once-in-a-generation excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Located in One Gateway Center in Newark—just steps from Newark Penn Station—TFW is designed to be the city’s premier match-day destination. This is not your typical sports bar. The Final Whistle is built around collective energy, elevated hospitality, and an immersive viewing environment—where every match feels like you’re in the stadium, and every guest feels part of something bigger. What You’ll Do: Inspire Memorable Hospitality: Ensure a smooth and seamless dining experience by delivering food promptly and with care, all while creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our guests. Stay Guest-Focused: Work closely with your management team to stay connected to guest feedback. Look for every opportunity to enhance the guest experience and help build a community of loyal regulars. Partner with the Restaurant: Build a strong, collaborative relationship with both the front-of-house management and kitchen teams, ensuring alignment on all business goals and initiatives. Effective communication ensures food arrives to the guest timely and in perfect condition.

Requirements

  • Eagerness to continue learning and growing
  • Strong hospitality mindset with great attention to detail
  • Collaborative and adaptable attitude, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
  • Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift objects up to 30 pounds
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and professionalism
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
  • Work alongside collaborative team members who support Dartcor core values

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred, but not necessary
