About The Position

If you enjoy staying active, working with a friendly team, and making sure guests receive great service from the moment they order to the moment their meal arrives, this role is a great fit. We’re looking for a Food Runner who takes pride in fast, accurate, and welcoming service. In this position, you’ll support both the front-of-house and kitchen teams by delivering food and beverages promptly, keeping the dining area clean and inviting, and making sure our guests feel taken care of. Every shift is an opportunity to help someone enjoy their day a little more.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with entering their food and beverage orders at the point of sale.
  • Handle payments and order entry with accuracy and care.
  • Deliver prepared food and beverages to tables quickly and courteously.
  • Keep the dining area clean by clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and resetting for the next guests.
  • Maintain organized, safe, and tidy front-of-house spaces.
  • Answer guest questions and support requests with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to keep orders moving smoothly.
  • Restock utensils, supplies, and service areas as needed.
  • Help uphold our guest service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.
