About The Position

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking Food Runners who provide first-class service and hospitality to Guests. This part-time, hourly, non-exempt position has a variable, non-guaranteed schedule, and weekend availability is required. Compensation is $18.70 per hour. The position reports to the General Manager. High school education is required; restaurant or customer-service experience and Expo experience are preferred.

Requirements

• High school education is required.
• Must be able to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for periods of up to five hours.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Weekend availability is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in the restaurant or customer-service industry is preferred.
• Hospitality or other degrees are a plus.
• Candidates with Expo experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Run food and beverages to the correct tables as orders appear in the window.
• Check items for completion, accuracy, and correct table numbers.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff when an order is incorrect or missing an item.
• Know the ingredients and components of food and beverage items and help Guests find additional information when needed.
• Ensure necessary condiments, serving implements, dishes, glassware, and utensils are available and clean for Guests.
• During downtime, proactively assist other team members or help as requested by the manager.
• Keep to-go roll-ups and the server station stocked.
• Care for restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to minimize breakage.
