About The Position

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking Food Runners who provide Guests with first-class service and hospitality. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Weekly hours may vary, and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is required. Compensation is $18.70 per hour. The position reports to the General Manager.

Requirements

• High school education is required.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for periods of up to five hours.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality or other degree.
• At least one year of experience in the restaurant or customer service industry.
• Expo experience; candidates with Expo experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Run food and beverages to the correct tables as items appear in the window.
• Check items for completion, accuracy, and correct table numbers.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff when an order is incorrect or missing items.
• Know the ingredients and components of food and beverages and inform Guests; direct them to further information when needed.
• Ensure necessary condiments, serving implements, dishes, glassware, and utensils are available and clean for Guests.
• During downtime, proactively assist other team members or help as requested by the manager.
• Keep to-go roll-ups and the server station stocked.
• Use restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses carefully to minimize breakage.
