About The Position

1909 Gastropub in Old Town Temecula is seeking Food Runners who are passionate and excited about providing an exceptional guest experience! Requirements

MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY
Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Must have at least 1 year of Food Runner and/or Restaurant Experience
Must be able to effectively take direction and execute as directed
Able to move and clean quickly in a fast-paced environment
Friendly “people-person”
Always keeping a positive and upbeat attitude.
Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
Must speak fluent English; Excellent verbal communication
Works well and efficiently under pressure
Flexibility and willing to work shifts including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts
Reliability and Punctuality is a must
Takes pride in professional appearance
Physical ability and stamina to carry multiple plates or drinks and stand for long hours.
Activities include, but are not limited to, walking, or standing for 6 to 8 hours at a time, reaching, stooping, lifting or carrying 25 or more pounds, carrying, talking, sitting, able to wipe down bar, tabletops, chairs, and booths; able to pick up debris from floor; able to push vacuum or mop.

Responsibilities

Sort and organize incoming food tickets
Ensure each food ticket item is communicated clearly
Maintain orders according to each table and food ticket
Ensure each order is prepared to the restaurant's and guest’s specifications
Garnish and prepare dishes for presentation, as needed
Promptly deliver each course as it is prepared to the correct table
Serve water to guests and refill beverage glasses, as needed
Place and replace silverware as needed
Remove guests’ dirty dishes and utensils as needed
Knowledge of preparation and ingredients in all dishes being prepared and assist with preparation
Communicate with the team at all times
Deliver food to customers in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant
Perform additional tasks to support overall success of restaurant
